I’ve known I wanted to tell stories since I was a little kid. I started drawing comic books on copy paper. Very soon, my doodling talent couldn’t keep up with my imagination so, at 15, I turned to writing. I filled endless unused pages of school notebooks with stories about kids having adventures in neighborhoods like the one I grew up in.
But it wasn’t until my 20’s that I gave writing a book a serious shot. It took a few years after that but I ended up with my first book, How We Stopped An Engkanto Before Dismissal.
I currently live in Las Pinas City, Philippines, where I grew up.
